Dina Samelis

Dina is originally from Montreal, Canada and has now relocated in beautiful Buenos Aires, Argentina. Yoga can mean so many different things to many different people. To Dina, yoga started out as a pure physical workout and gradually became so much more then she ever expected. "I remember the first time I ever attended a yoga class. I felt like I was exactly where I belonged and that I would do yoga forever. Ever since then, I've been blessed with so many positive experiences.  My goal is to share that with you through yoga practice because it has brought so much happiness in my own life"

Dina graduated from the Yandara Yoga Institute Teacher Training Program in Baja Mexico and is a Registered Yoga Teacher.   Her teaching style is calm and down to earth, combining Iyengar allignment and Vinyasa flow, adapting them to suit the ability and needs of the student. Classes may be strong and sweaty or gentle and relaxing. Her yoga classes include a combination of many yogic techniques such as asanas (yoga exercises), pranayamas (breathing exercices), deep relaxation, chanting and meditation.  As a teacher she challenges students to see who they are, and show them how to be more themselves by being aware of each moment and each breath.

Some of her other interests include reiki, holistic healing, cooking, entertaining friends, gardening, reading, traveling, surfing  and continuously learning.

Diane Ghogomu

Diane is a nomadic child of the world currently growing, giving, and spreading love in Buenos Aires.  A former competitive athlete, almost six years ago Diane began to focus her energies on yoga to heal her battered physical body.  She found the first class excruciating slow and painful but after a few months of consistent practice, her constant aches and pains were mere memories.  She began to trade her competitive spirit for one of communal experience, her obsession to finish first, for an infinite journey of mind, body, and spirit integration.

Diane has studied under Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Power, Bikram, and Kundalini yoga teachers and enjoys sprinkling her practice with elements from each school. Her classes are physically demanding but integrative, concentrating on exploring and opening one charka each month.  For Diane, practicing yoga is a journey to becoming a more perfect urban yogi; understanding that every situation has a lesson, each breath is a miracle, and the moment that matters is now.

Lucia Pugliese

Lucia was born and raised in Buenos Aires. She began her Yoga practice in 2006, at the Indra Devi Foundation in search of a physical activity and because she was curious about Yoga. Then, three years ago she got specialized in the Iyengar method with her teacher Diego Carmona. This was when her real discovery of the magic of Yoga began. As she began to learn and practice more consciously, Lucia began to appreciate how deep and miraculous this source of knowledge is. In trying different methods, she found Iyengar to be the most efficient and precise.

In 2009, Lucia began teaching in the Iyengar method. This experience as well as her personal practice and her continued studies, are her jouney in the process of getting certified in the Iyengar Yoga method.

Lucia aims to reflect her passion for Yoga in every class. She really feels it’s a way of helping people to feel better with themselves and with everyday life, and to contribute, ultimately, to create a better society. She is also studying Anthropology at the University of Buenos Aires and enjoys traveling, reading, biking and listening to music.
